Who we are
The Solar System (solarsystem.sitemys.com) is a free, educational, interactive 3D scene of the Solar System built on NASA and NASA JPL data. It is developed and run by Ashran Helmi (AHR). Its Reflection chapter uses the Quran Foundation APIs, the platform behind Quran.com and QuranReflect.
What we collect
Nothing personal. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no forms, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising.
- On your device only: the scene remembers your choices (display layers, language, voice and subtitles, and the Reflection player's loop and translation switches) in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser's site data removes it.
- Server logs: like any website, our hosting provider may record standard request details (such as IP address, time and browser type) to run and protect the service. We do not use them to identify you.
Quran content
The Quran text, translations, surah names and recitation links in the Reflection chapter are public Quran content, retrieved by our server from the Quran Foundation APIs. No personal data about you is collected or sent to Quran Foundation to do this. The recitation audio plays directly from Quran.com's audio server, so your browser contacts it when you play an ayah.

To show live data and load the page, your browser connects directly to these services, each under its own privacy policy:

The site is hosted by Hostinger (privacy policy) and its domain is served through Cloudflare (privacy policy).
Children
The Solar System is educational and open to everyone, with no sign-up and no personal data collected. Parents and teachers are welcome to explore it with children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date at the top of this page and show a notice on the site for at least 30 days.
